NVTC Big Data and Analytics Committee will host a big data event at the Gannett Conference Center in McLean, Va. on Thursday, Feb. 4. Registration and networking is scheduled from 7:30 to 8 a.m. The program will begin at 8 a.m. and finish at 10 a.m.
The event will center on how companies in the D.C. region are using big data and analytics to grow revenues and expand their businesses. The moderator for the evening will be Ali Eskandarian, Dean and Professor of Physics at George Washington University. Kevin O’Riordan, Senior Director of Walmart Technology will be discussing Walmart’s recent expansion in Northern Virginia, Walmart’s use of Big Data, and the future of Big Data as the event’s keynote speaker.
Scheduled panelists for the event include Vice President of Product Management at Logi Analytics Brian Brinkmann; Director of Analytics and Business Insights at Customink Elvis Dieguez; Chief Product Officer at Zoomph Thomas Mathew and Curtis Smith of Neustar.
Registration is $45 for NVTC members and $90 for general audience tickets. Walk-in prices are $55 for NVTC members and $100 for general audience tickets.
