Human capital management and talent acquisition firm Helios HR, based in Reston, Va., announced Jan. 21 the appointment of Madelyne D’Angelo, SPHR, Esq. as Managing Director. D’Angelo will return to the firm in a new role responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, team leadership and overseeing the client experience across business lines. D’Angelo, who was a Practice Leader at Helios HR from 2005 to 2007, will work closely with and report directly to President and CEO Kathy Albarado.

With Madelyne in her role as Managing Director, it allows us to scale for further growth as we extend our client, team and community relationships,” Albarado said. “Whenever a key team member returns to an organization it makes a big statement.”

D’Angelo comes to Helios HR with 15 years of experience as a strategic partner elevating the human capital function for organizational impact. She has led the integration efforts related to multiple acquisitions and is masterful in building and maintaining relationships.
She joins the Helios HR team after the recent merger of Salient CRGT, where she served as the Vice President of Human Resources at CRGT, Inc. Prior to CRGT, D’Angelo served as the Vice President of HR Administration of L-3 STRATIS.
D’Angelo earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Penn. and earned her Juris Doctor from the Duquesne School of Law in Pittsburgh, Penn. She is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia and is certified in Myers Briggs and as a Senior Professional Human Resources from HRCI.
