The American Heart Association will host the annual DC Heart Ball on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. This black-tie event historically draws more than 500 of the area’s most prominent medical, corporate and community leaders.
This year’s Executive Leadership Team includes David Cohen of DCI Consulting, Jon Forster of Greenberg Traurig and Rob Franklin of Morgan Franklin. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction. The dinner program is scheduled for 8 p.m., followed by the live auction and special appeal at 9 p.m. The evening will also include dessert and Dancing at Heart After Dark at 10 p.m. Luxury trips, sporting packages, jewelry, children’s gifts and dining experiences are just a few of the items being auctioned.
You can also give directly to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association through Open Your Heart. This is a purely philanthropic gift where 100 percent of your donation gift goes directly to the mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
