Sevatec Inc. (Sevatec) announced Dec. 15 that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Cyber Security Division has awarded the company a prime contract to provide an Incident Response, Reporting and Tracking Solution.
“This award reflects our second engagement supporting the mission critical needs of NOAA,” Sevatec CEO Sonny Kakar said. “Sevatec is honored to continue serving on this commitment to support NOAA’s strategic interests through our work on the NOAA Cyber Security Center Support (NCSC) program.”
Sevatec will be working with Defense Point Security (DPS) and RSA on this contract.
NOAA is a scientific agency whose mission is to manage and deliver critical data and information to citizens in the areas of weather and water forecasts services, search and rescue, climate change, environmental images, coastal maps, and ecosystems management. NOAA’s Cyber Security Division is responsible for managing NOAA’s IT Security Program, including the development of policy and planning the oversight of all IT security, ensuring integrity, privacy and availability of NOAA data and information.
