Retail enterprise management solutions provider Aptos Inc. (formerly Epicor Retail Solutions), announced Dec. 15 the appointment of Kevin Parker as its Board of Directors Chairman.

“We’re very excited to have Kevin join our board of directors as chairman and as a trusted advisor,” Aptos CEO Noel Goggin said. “Aptos brings an exciting new energy to the retail technology space with a focus on innovation; Kevin’s extensive experience in running and developing companies in the software and technology sectors will greatly benefit us in our next wave of growth.”

“Beyond Kevin’s impressive business acumen, his focus on values and broadening his impact on the community at-large aligns with our corporate culture that we define as the Aptos Way,” Goggin said. “Our guiding principles include having a pioneering spirit; always being authentic; and engaging our community — characteristics Kevin has continually demonstrated during his career.”

“I am excited to be working together with Noel and the entire Aptos team,” Parker said. “Aptos has an exceptional suite of cloud-ready retail technology solutions, an impressive customer list of today’s leading brands, and an expanding global footprint that positions the company for continued growth.”

“Kevin’s extensive business leadership and industry experience will provide valuable insight and guidance to help Aptos continue to succeed during this period of high growth and to execute on its vision of engaging customers differently,” Apax Partners Senior Partner Jason Wright said.

Parker also currently serves on the boards of Intermedia, cVent Inc. and Polycom. He is the co-founder and senior operating principal at Bridge Growth Partners LLC. Parker has previously worked at Deltek and PeopleSoft.

Parker earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Clarkson University.
