Falls Church, Va.-based nonprofit research corporation Noblis Inc. announced Nov. 22 the appointment of former National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) Plans and Programs Director Ellen McCarthy as Noblis National Security Partners’ (NSP) President.
“Ellen comes to us with an incredibly distinguished career in the intelligence community and the private sector,” Noblis National Security and Intelligence Senior Vice President L. Roger Mason, Jr., Ph.D. said. “Ellen is a trusted colleague and has a reputation of leading highly effective organizations with a focus on workforce, technology and mission. We are very pleased to have her join the Noblis team, and we look forward to expanding and enhancing the capabilities and solutions we bring to clients in this space.”
“I’m eager to leverage my intelligence and law enforcement experience to further position and solidify Noblis NSP’s stance as an authoritative force in the IC and security fields,” McCarthy said. “I am really looking forward to working with this incredible team of industry experts to break ground and pave new ways.”
McCarthy previously served as a member of the NGA’s command leadership team, NGA Chief Operating Officer and INSA President. She has also held leadership positions with the Human Capital Management Office, the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Office of Naval Intelligence and Atlantic Fleet.
