Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) announced Nov. 16 the acquisition of Data Networks Corporation (DNC) by its wholly-owned subsidiary ASRC Federal.

“This acquisition demonstrates ASRC’s continued commitment to diversifying and growing our government services portfolio,” ASRC President and CEO Rex A. Rock Sr. said.

“The acquisition of DNC meets important objectives established by ASRC Federal’s strategic plan,” ASRC Federal President and CEO Mark Gray said. “Specifically, this acquisition expands our position in key federal IT markets, most notably health IT, while also augmenting our existing capabilities and services.”

DNC will become a subsidiary of ASRC Federal.
