Support is needed for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLC) 2015 Light the Night Walks. Money raised from this event will go to support critical clinical research to find cures to all blood cancers. The first Light the Night walk will take place on October 3rd in Reston Town Center. The goal for this year is $3 million which would be used to invest in innovative research, support patients and their families, and move closer to a world without cancer.

Todd Stottlemyer, Greater Washington, DC region’s Corporate Walk Chair said, “I have been incredibly impressed with the tremendous work of LLS and their innovative approach to funding cancer research and providing access to patients and families. LLS has invested over $1 billion in cutting-edge research – research that is saving lives today. But the impact reaches far beyond blood cancer patients. Blood cancer research is a gateway to studying many types of cancers and developing new therapies to defeat all types of cancer.”
