On July 29, 2015, NCI, Inc. (NCIT) announced that it has been awarded a 12-month base period and a 12-month option year U.S. Army contract to provide IT services supporting the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) at Fort Benning, GA. This contract is valued at $9.4 million and is under NCI’s ITES-2S program, previously awarded in December 2006.

Classified and unclassified communication systems for Fort Benning’s NEC will be supported by NCI. The project will supply various IT services and support to the fort’s population of more than 120,000 which includes active-duty military, family members and others.

“The U.S. Army is one of NCI’s largest and longest-standing customers and we are pleased to begin supporting the Network Enterprise Center at Fort Benning with this award,” said Brian J. Clark, NCI’s newly-named CEO. “We look forward to ensuring the highest level of information system support to allow mission-critical efforts to operate at peak performance.”
