    2015 Hot Ticket Award Winners and Finalists Announced by NVTC

    On June 23rd Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation, honored the region’s best and brightest entreprenual technology companies with the 14th Annual NVTC Hot Ticket  Awards. More than 450 members of the Northern Virginia technology community attended the poolside celebration at the home of NVTC CEO and President Bobbie Kilberg.

    Special guest Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe spoke at the event, discussing his collaboration with NVTC, Virginia’s advanced economic development, and his commitment to businesses and entrepreneurs.

    The program was hosted by Katherine Ferguson of “Smoking Hot Sponsor” Cooley and Mark Anderson of “Smoking Hot Sponsor” BDO.

    The 2015 Hot Ticket Awards judges were April Young of Hercules Technology Growth Capital, Ron Kaiser, Nick Lantuh, Jim Russo of Potomac Consultants, Jonathan Aberman of Amplifier Ventures, Steve Graubart of 1776 and Joe Greeves of Cordia Partners.

    The five categories of award nominations included: Hottest Bootstrap, Hottest Company Culture, Hottest Friend of the Entrepreneur, Hottest Startup, and Hottest Venture Capital Deal. Judges also selected Booz Allen Hamilton as the winner of the 2015 Hall of Fame Award. Winners and finalists in each category are as follows:
