Fairfax, Va.-based SRA International Inc. announced April 29 that the company has been awarded a prime position on the Global Intelligence Support Services (GISS) contract administered by the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).

“SRA has a long history as a mission partner helping the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command meet its operational challenges,” SRA’s National Security Group Executive Vice President George Batsakis said. “We are pleased to continue that tradition, bringing the full breadth of our intelligence expertise to bear, to help INSCOM and its partners achieve mission success.”

GISS is a $5 billion, multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Unrestricted Pool contract vehicle. SRA was also named as a teammate on the $2.2 billion Restricted Pool GISS IDIQ. The GISS Unrestricted Pool contract has one base year with four option years. The combined pools have a potential ceiling value of $7.2 billion.

INSCOM is a major Army command charged with providing soldiers the intelligence needed to understand the battlefield and to focus and leverage combat power. INSCOM collects and provides analysis and disseminates intelligence information in all intelligence disciplines.
