Unisys Corporation, of Blue Bell, Penn., announced April 15 the appointment of Casey Coleman as the company’s Vice President for Civilian Agencies. She formally served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).

“We are extremely pleased to have Casey leading Unisys’ U.S. federal civilian agency business,” Unisys Federal President Venkatapathi “PV” Puvvada said. “Her expertise in areas like cloud, mobility, security and IT consolidation fits perfectly into the strengths of the portfolio of solutions Unisys provides to its federal clients. Her skills and experience will help us continue to achieve success at meeting the mission-critical needs of our civilian agency clients.”

“As someone with a passion for helping federal government agencies use technology to advance their missions, I look forward to working at Unisys to serve the company’s civilian agency clients,” Coleman said. “This position offers me an opportunity to have a significant impact across the entire federal civilian sector.”

Coleman is a recipient of the ComputerWorld Premiere 100 Award, the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium Award for Leadership in Innovation and is a three-time winner of the Federal Computer Week Federal 100 Award.

She most recently served as Client Executive Vice President at AT&T Government Solutions. Coleman has also worked at Lockheed Martin and Kana Software.
