Herndon, Va.-based Spectrum Systems – Emtec Federal announced March 4 the acquisition Sterling, Va.-based LTI DataComm, a federal IT product resale and professional services business.

“LTI’s offerings dovetail nicely with our existing VDI and physical security offerings,” Spectrum Systems – Emtec Federal CEO Barry Culman said. “Integrating LTI’s capabilities and expertise not only allows us to expand into new markets, but also to enhance our own capabilities specific to delivering secure wireless communications, optimized network performance and cyber security solutions for a consistent end-user experience.”

Spectrum Systems – Emtec Federal is an IT integrator, value-added reseller and a provider of IT infrastructure and professional services to the federal marketplace.
