Giant Oak Inc., based in Arlington, Va., announced March 20 the hiring of Sarah Mravec as a Data Scientist. She will lead product development efforts for Giant Oak’s flagship tool, Social Locator, in addition to others.

“Giant Oak is a leader in providing complex analytics as a service solution across government and commercial realms,” Mravec said. “Here, I have the forum and opportunity to deepen my experience in providing analytically-driven technology expertise in the national security realm. I am delighted to be part of such a dedicated, motivated and expanding team.”

“Sarah’s prior experience with complex analytics and product development will be invaluable to our clients as we customize solutions to meet their specific needs,” Giant Oak President and CEO Gary Shiffman said. “Her professional accomplishments and industry insight complement our team’s strengths nicely, strengthening our ability to tailor our offerings. Sarah’s leadership will prove an asset as Giant Oak continues to expand its services and offerings.”
