Arlington, Va.-based Evoke Consulting will celebrate its 10 year anniversary with a Casino Night Fundraiser from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. March 12, 2015, at Evoke’s headquarters, in Arlington. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Virginia Hospital Center (VHC) Medical Brigade.
“Evoke continuously strives to give back to the community, and we can think of no better way to celebrate our 10th Anniversary than to combine it with a charity event for the Virginia Hospital Center Medical Brigade,” Evoke Vice President of Consulting Services Richard Borneman said. “The Brigade provides free medical services, supplies and training to impoverished communities in Honduras bringing health and hope to those who have so little. We are proud to be a partner with the Brigade and are hopeful our Casino Night will be a success for their cause.”
The event will feature “play to win” games and prizes, such as blackjack, poker, roulette, craps, let it ride and Texas Hold ‘Em, along with drinks and appetizers. Big ticket prizes include an auction for a vacation to the Caribbean, Washington Redskin season passes and Washington Nationals tickets, along with a “High Roller” area with a $100 buy-in and exclusive prizes.
The VHC Medical Brigade sponsors both annual humanitarian healthcare mission trips and sustainable healthcare intervention models in Honduras.
There is a $25 entrance fee. Evoke hopes to raise $10,000.
