Reston, Va.-based Leidos announced Jan. 6 the appointment of David Silberstein as service line director for analytics of Leidos Health. His role will focus on offerings for hospitals and health systems.
“With significant experience in business development and healthcare analytics, Dave brings substantial health IT knowledge and leadership that will help drive the value and growth of the health data offerings in our business,” Leidos Health and Engineering Sector President Mike Pasqua said.
Silberstein will further develop and manage professional offerings in data governance, data management, analytics strategy and leverage hospital’s data to improve outcomes and reduce cost. He will also partner with other business units within Leidos to develop analytic offerings that are specific to the needs of hospitals and health systems.
Silberstein previously worked as a senior partner at Teradata Corporation for the Healthcare Providers practice. He has also held senior level roles in health information technology at companies including Cerner, Accenture, Deloitte Consulting and Titan Corporation.
Silberstein earned a bachelor’s degree from Hampshire College. He has also served as a consultant to numerous financial services clients on healthcare information technology topics.
