    SAVE THE DATE: DC Metro Chapter of the National SDVOSB Council Meeting, Nov. 12

    The DC Metro Chapter of the National Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Council will hold its next meeting Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Key Bridge Marriott, 1401 Lee Highway, in Arlington.

    David Kriegman of Z2B LLC and author of “Zero to a Billion: 61 Rules Entrepreneurs Need to Know to Grow a Government Contracting Business,” will present from 3 to 4 p.m. on the topic of “How to Beat Companies Larger than You: Strategies for Winning Bids.” Learn what you have to do to grow, the obstacles to doing it, overcoming these obstacles, beating larger companies and what this means in an LPTA environment.

    The dinner meeting agenda includes networking and a cash bar at 5 p.m.; welcome and introductions at 6 p.m.; dinner at 6:15 p.m.; and a special presentation by Kriegman at 6:45 p.m. There will be a discussion on the topic of leadership, value and culture.

    The cost to attend is $40 for Council members and $50 for non-members. Parking is free.
