ManTech International Corporation announced Oct. 16 that it has been awarded a task order under the U.S. Navy’s Seaport Enhanced prime contract to provide test and evaluation (T&E) and fleet support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Va.

“Naval Surface Warfare Centers play an important role in the rapid introduction of advanced technologies to our Navy’s combat systems,” ManTech’s Mission Solutions & Services Group President and COO Daniel J. Keefe said in a statement. “ManTech is proud to have been selected to provide T&E solutions and services in support of this important mission.”

The award is valued at $29.7 million, with a base 12-month period of performance and two 12-month option periods.

Tthe Fairfax, Va.-based information technology and technical services company will provide technical engineering and analysis expertise for T&E efforts, computer program development and installation, fleet support and documentation management for Aegis weapon systems and other Navy combat systems under the task order.

WashingtonExec last covered ManTech International when the company was awarded the OASIS contract in September.
