National security technology company Sotera Defense Solutions announced Sept. 22 that it one of several contractors to be awarded prime position of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) contract in the Functional Category 1 (FC1) — Unrestricted (UNR) track.
Under the multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) service delivery contract, Sotera will provide work in the areas of system design, development, implementation, and integration; software design and development; and operations and maintenance over a possible 7-year period.
“Sotera is pleased to be awarded this significant position on the DHS EAGLE II contract,” Sotera President and CEO Deb Alderson said in a statement. “This demonstrates the growing recognition across our customer base that our innovative approach is meeting our customers’ needs. This vehicle provides an excellent opportunity for Sotera and our teaming partners to deliver a wide range of mission-critical IT services and products to the DHS by providing increased flexibility over the course of the program.”
The contract has a $22 billion ceiling.
