SRA International will be providing IT solutions and services to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security under the organization’s $22 billion Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) contract.
SRA’s prime position award falls under the Unrestricted Track for Functional Category 1, according to a statement. The deal contracts the company to provide software design and development, system design, development, implementation and integration as well as operations and maintenance to DHS.
“SRA has supported the U.S. national security mission for over 30 years and we have been a mission partner with the Department of Homeland Security since the agency’s inception,” said George Batsakis, executive vice president of the company’s National Security Group. “We are proud to continue providing DHS with innovative information technology services and solutions critical to ensuring the safety and security of our nation.”
The IT solutions company also announced last week it updated its tagline and logo in efforts to clarify its brand identity, according to a statement.
“Since our last major brand identity change 18 years ago, a great deal has happened in the federal contracting market, in the United States and across the world,” Andrew Bryden, the company’s vice president of communications and public affairs, said in a statement. “We feel that now is the right time to clarify what SRA stands for, build on our rich history and look to the future.”
The move comes roughly two weeks after the company formerly known as the SI Organization changed its name to Vencore.
Based in Fairfax, Va. SRA International delivers its IT solutions and professional services to a primarily government customer base.
SRA said the clarified brand identity aims to reinforce for customers its values and desire to help clients. The company updated its tagline to “Enduring Values. Inspired Performance.”
“Over the last few years, we’ve invested a significant amount of time and resources in strengthening our ability to help our customers solve their toughest mission and operational challenges, by building the best performing teams, leveraging our mission experience and domain expertise and ensuring the best value,” Bryden said in a company statement.
