Reston-based Pragmatics is working on the Distributed Common Ground/Surface System – Special Operations Forces (DCGS-SOF) Systems Development, Integration, and Sustainment Task Order by the Department of Defense’s (DOD) United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). If all options are exercised, this $10 million task order will cover a three-year period.
Specifically, Pragmatics is delivering the research and development (R&D), integration, and operations and maintenance (O&M) activities to support the DCGS-SOF Program in developing and integrating critical capabilities and functionality. These capabilities include persistent Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) as well as the ability to conduct planning and operations of irregular warfare.
Under the contract, Pragmatics is performing systems engineering, integration and maintenance to field, standardize, modernize, sustain and maintain a core DCGS-SOF system. The company will also continue to perform agile development as well as adapt the processes it has implemented in the previous two years in sport of SOCOM’s security requirements.
