The Small Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) this week announced that Scott Brezler has been named Chairman of the Board. Brezler, who is a Partner at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, will help to further SECAF’s mission to provide education, resources and advocacy venues that ensure the success of the government contractor community and provide access to federal opportunities.
“I am extremely honored to accept this appointment,” said Brezler. “Over the last several years, SECAF has made considerable strides in terms of membership growth, producing flagship events – like the annual Government Contractor Awards – and delivering unsurpassed value to our membership base and the contracting community as a whole. The future is bright for our organization, and I greatly look forward to stewarding in the next round of successes.”
Brezler brings two decades of experience as a certified public accountant and has worked in a number of practice areas including financial statement audits and government contractor reviews, government contract compliance and consulting, and account system assessment including job costing systems and compliance regulations. Brezler also brings experience identifying deficiencies in technical accounting procedures and reporting disclosure requirements under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
SECAF is a membership organization that provides business resources, access to government agencies, advocacy opportunities and education to medium to large government contractors. Its 350 members include CEOs, COOs and CXOs of both small and emerging contractors.
