McLean-based Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has announced that Kimberly Admire will be joining the team as the new chief human resources officer. Admire will replace Brian Keenan, who has been with the company since 2000, including serving as the chief human resources officer since 2007.
In her new role, Admire will develop and lead employee-related initiatives, including compensation and benefits, talent management, organizational culture and development, workforce planning, employee engagement and recruiting. Admire’s will take over this role, effective Aug. 11.
“We deeply appreciate Brian’s leadership and commitment to SAIC, particularly during the company’s transformation and spin-off last year,” said SAIC CEO Tony Moraco. “Kim brings more than 20 years of industry experience and extensive knowledge of the human resources discipline, which will be instrumental to our employees and customers as we continue our journey as a renewed company. We are excited to welcome Kim to our leadership team.”
Most recently, Admire served as vice president of Culture, Diversity and Equal Opportunity Programs at Lockheed Martin Corp., where she designed and implemented enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategies. Admire spent 16 years with Lockheed Martin, serving in multiple key leadership positions during her time there.
Admire received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Park College and her master’s degree in human resources management from the University of Maryland University College. She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
