Pragmatics, Inc., a solutions provider based in Reston, Va., last week announced software expert Sean Cohan will serve as Vice President of the company’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG) where he will report to Chief Operating Officer Joe Brock to provide technical support to clients.

Cohan, who served previously as technical director for the Pragmatics Defense and Intelligence Solutions Division, is also tasked in his new post with providing direction, oversight and consulting services across the company and to clients, according to a Pragmatics press statement released last week.

The new technology solutions VP has 25 years of software development under his belt and joined Pragmatics in 2004.

Brock spoke to Cohan’s experience and achievements in improving the software solution delivery that was instrumental to Pragmatics’ growth.

“Sean Cohan’s wealth of experience in software development and information technology systems engineering for a broad range of government customers makes him a natural choice to lead TSG,” Brock said. “He is an excellent addition to the Pragmatics executive team, and we look forward to the innovative solutions and strong leadership he will bring to TSG.”

Cohan prior to joining Pragmatics served as a technical consultant for companies including SITEL Technology Services, Texas Instruments and NASD Regulations, Inc.
