Accenture Federal Services is set to provide information technology support to the U.S. Navy Supply Systems Command under a multi-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $53.7 million, according to a company press statement released last week.
The Arlington, Va.-based consulting and IT services company currently provides the Navy with audit readiness services, program management and engineering services for the department’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific and provides IT effectiveness evaluations.
The vehicle bolsters the Navy-Accenture business relationship and contracts Accenture to provide services aimed at conducting analytics efforts, supporting, maintaining and improving Navy information systems and providing international programs support to a Navy business systems center based in Pa.
The IDIQ calls on Accenture to provide data analytics to reduce inventory investment, improve Navy operating force readiness, identify high-risk procurements and aid budget decisions.
Vince Vlasho, the lead managing director supporting Accenture’s work with the Navy, said the company looks fondly at the opportunity.
