Thirty-one finalists chosen from nearly 200 nominations have been announced for the 2014 Helios Apollo Awards, according to a Helios HR press release.
Since 2007, Helios HR has annually recognized outstanding organizations that build “cultures of intention” throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The finalists represent area organizations that promote employee development within their culture.
“Our program recognizes leaders for their contributions in building organizational cultures that foster employee development and community impact, creating a stronger community at large,” said Kathy Albarado, CEO of Helios HR. “And our event provides a unique combination of collaboration, connections and content.”
The Awards are presented in multiple categories based on organization size. There is a distinct category for not-for-profits. Winners of each category will be revealed at the Helios Apollo Awards breakfast ceremony May 28 at The Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Va.
