Dovel Technologies of McLean, which provides software and application development for government clients, announced Monday that the company has relocated its Virginia offices to 7901 Jones Branch Drive in McLean.
The company, assisted by Colliers International, has leased 23,240 square feet of space on the sixth floor for its corporate headquarters. All business operations as well as project work will take place in the new office space, according to Dovel, which didn’t go far, moving from a different Jones Branch Drive address.
“Our new headquarters space will provide Dovel the opportunity to be more collaborative, efficient and give us room for the growth we are already experiencing this year,” said Paul Leslie, CEO of Dovel Technologies. “We are excited to have fresh surroundings and look forward to highlighting our new office as an environment where we can comfortably collaborate with customers, architecting solutions around their requirements.”
Dovel was recently awarded a contract with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and has already begun performing work on awarded tasks. The contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Division Information Office Application Modernization and Development Support contract. The company also supports the Food and Drug Administration and the Federal Aviation Administration among other federal clients.
Located in the Tysons Corner area of Northern Virginia, 7901 Jones Branch Drive comprises 197,939 square feet of class A office space built in 1999. The nine-story building is blocks from Tysons Galleria and less than a half-mile from the future Tysons Corner metro station on the silver line.
