MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a national security company, has announced that in partnership with X-eeto, it has been awarded a contract to provide the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) with IT services to increase communications and collaboration throughout Central and South America and the Caribbean.
Under the contract, X-eeto will act as the prime, working in partnership with MacB. The team will administer and manage all IT management, operations and security support services for USSOUTHCOM Headquarters, located in Miami, Fla. It will also provide engineers, technicians and IT support specialists on-site and on-call to support both secure and non-secure USSOUTHCOM requirements.
“USSOUTHCOM operates in one of the most diverse and geographically challenging areas of the world,” said Dennis Werth, president of MacB Gray Enterprise Solutions (GES). “Being able to rely on an IT and communications infrastructure that is available 24/7 increases mission readiness and gives commanders throughout the theatre access to critical information in a timely manner.”
