Gil Guarino recently took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Intuitive.IT following a brief retirement in 2012 from his nine-year long role as executive vice president for CACI International.

Guarino will serve the “simple solutions” IT company to aid in focusing, growing and branding the small business as it emerges into the business intelligence, application services, enterprise architecture, security and intelligence services sectors.

Guarino told WashingtonExec  last week he is enthusiastic about returning into a business leadership role and the prospect of working with a talented team of IT professionals.

“I can’t think of a more challenging, yet rewarding endeavor than differentiating Intuitive.IT from the multitude of services companies in the Federal market,” Guarino said. “I’m confident we’ll be successful because we’ll build the company and it’s culture on a foundation that makes delivering exceptional value to our customers and ethics/integrity our over arching priorities.  At the same time we’ll provide a place for best-in-class professionals to thrive and advance in their careers.”

The Federal IT services and solutions provider holds a General Services Administration Schedule 70 contract.

Guarino also spoke to us last year just after his retirement from CACI about what he wished he had known when he first entered the government contracting landscape. Access that content here.
