Salient Federal Solutions Inc. (Salient), a top provider of information technology, training, engineering, and intelligence analytic services, announced the appointment of Carlos Fernandes as director of Salient’s Cyber Security Center of Excellence (CSCoE).
Fernandes will be responsible for developing and executing Salient’s cybersecurity strategy and growing market distinctions and innovations of the CSCoE to include a full range of cyber security capabilities for predicting and preventing cyber incidents. He most recently served as founder and managing principal/chief executive officer at Agile Cyber Security Solutions LLC, a veteran-owned small business, focused in the areas of cybersecurity and intelligence solutions.

Fernandes brings over a decade of experience in international project management, along with over 21 years of information security experience as a whole, to his new role.
