Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG), a privately held cybersecurity services firms, has announced the appointment of Terry DiVittorio as Vice President, Cybersecurity Strategy and Solutions Development.  DiVittorio will be responsible for enhancing KCG’s cybersecurity growth initiatives for new and existing markets, solutions and offerings.  He will serve as a business development and capture lead for strategic government pursuits – with a focus on the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice and the intelligence community – as well as a solutions architect for evolving computer network defense, security operations and incident response offerings.

“Terry brings to the table extensive experience leading cybersecurity business development in support of top technology and consulting companies across the government and defense industry,” said Chris Oglesby, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, KCG.

“KCG is one of the most trusted and recognized names in cybersecurity,” said DiVittorio.  “I am proud to have the opportunity to join the dynamic KCG team, and assist with the growth of the company’s cybersecurity business and government relationships.  I look forward to continuing to evolve KCG’s core business focus of safeguarding their clients’ mission-critical data and systems.”

DiVittorio joins KCG from Blue Canopy, where he served as Director of the Cybersecurity Business Unit.  Before joining Blue Canopy, DiVittorio served as Director of Cyber Operations at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), where he oversaw the company’s full portfolio of national security clients focused on cybersecurity.  He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional with more than two decades of experience in information operations and computer network defense.  A veteran of the first Gulf War, DiVittorio served in the U.S. Air Force from 1984 through 2000.

“Terry’s work serving some of the most demanding customers in the defense, intelligence and law enforcement space will be invaluable to KCG’s cybersecurity mission.  We are excited to welcome him to the team,” said Dusty Wince, Founder and CEO, KCG.
