The Social Security Administration (SSA) has selected Accenture Federal Services as one of three prime contractors to provide specialized advisory and assistance support services under a five-year, multiple-award, blanket purchase agreement (BPA). The BPA has a $65 million ceiling.
“SSA’s commitment to providing outstanding citizen service and operational excellence is vital to people depending on the agency,” said Ed Meehan, who leads Accenture’s U.S. federal civilian agency work. “We are committed to delivering innovative solutions to help the agency meet changing and evolving citizen needs.”
Accenture can provide services in all four areas of the BPA:
- Strategic Technology Planning – IT strategy planning and analysis, technology evaluation support, and project development and planning
- IT Management and Support – Technology management, project management, risk management, and service-level agreement monitoring
- IT Related Business Support Services – Business decision and capital planning and consulting services
- Systems Security Advisory Services – Systems security, independent validation and verification, and risk analysis
Accenture also supports the SSA under the Information Technology Support Services Contract (ITSSC), implementing emerging technology solutions and applications designed to improve the SSA’s service delivery capabilities to current and future beneficiaries.
