TISTA Science and Technology Corporation recently achieved a ranking of 13 in the List of Fastest Growing Small Technology Companies issued this year by the Washington Business Journal. Last year, the firm ranked 28.

“Washington D.C. and the surrounding areas are the hub for government contracting, so to be one of the fastest growing companies among such strong competition speaks volumes about TISTA’s capabilities,” said Ahmed Ali, president and chairman for TISTA.

The rankings for the Small Technology Companies listing is based on 2012 revenue.

“We’ve been able to grow our presence within key agencies, such as the Internal Revenue Service, the National Institutes of Health, the National Guard and the Defense Information Systems Agency,” added Ali. “Our employees and management should be proud of their accomplishments. These are definitely some exciting times for TISTA.”

Earlier this year, TISTA announced prime contracts with new customers such as NASA, Department of Veterans Affairs and the Defense Logistics Agency.
