Tangible Software, Inc. has acquired N2 Net Security, Inc. a managed security services provider, specializing in penetration testing, secure product development, SIEM implementation, and PCI compliance.

“The acquisition represents a strategic leap forward”, said Dr. Mark Mykityshyn, Tangible’s executive chairman. “We’re now able to offer a broader range of high-impact technology-enabled network security solutions delivered by people that literally wrote the book on penetration testing and SIEM implementation, and have presented at conferences such as Black Hat and DEFCON. Over time, this acquisition will be felt and valued by many in the Federal government.”

The two firms will merge their expertise and resources to deliver a broader portfolio of cyber security solutions to Federal and commercial markets that can better scale to meet a growing backlog of market demand.

“We’ll now be able to increase our reach into vital commercial markets such as banking, finance, energy, healthcare, and more”, said Allen Harper, founder and former president of N2 Net Security. “Now, we’ll have the resources to scale as well as further expand our capabilities of security operations, secure product development life cycle (SPDLC), and governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) services.”
