It was announced today that Force 3, with Patriot-Comm, has been named a partner of the First Source II contract for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract is worth up to $2 billion over five years, with two one-year options.
Force 3 will work with prime contractor Patriot-Comm, a service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB), to provide DHS with access to a wide and renewable variety of IT commodities and solutions, including hardware and software, as well as value-added IT services. Force 3 will also be the primary provider of Cisco, NetApp, and EMC IT commodities.
“Our position with manufacturers enables us to bring an added dimension of value and support to this contract vehicle,” said Mike Greaney, chief revenue officer at Force 3. “We are proud to be working with SDVOSB Patriot-Comm to provide the DHS with streamlined access to the technology products they need to protect our country.”
The contract will serve as the preferred source for acquiring the information technology (IT) products required to meet the DHS’ enterprise infrastructure needs.
