THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH) Board of Directors announced last week the appointment of Michael Kelley as CEO of the firm. Kelley succeeds Fernando V. Galaviz, who has served as CEO since he founded CENTECH 25 years ago. Galaviz will continue as chairman of the board.

“CENTECH has a successful track record in performing a wide range of information technology (IT) contracts across the federal government,” Kelley said. “I am excited about this new opportunity and look forward to applying my skills and experience in business development to meet CENTECH’s growth objectives. Mr. Galaviz has built and outstanding company that is poised for expansion.”

Prior to his current role, Kelley served as the vice president of Abacus Technology Corporation Business Development. During his eight years at Abacus, the firm was one of the leading small business companies in the U.S. His 40 year career includes working for PRC, Logicon, Northrop Grumman Corporation, TASC, Inc., General Electric Company, Loral and Kaman Sciences Corporation.
