    TASC Names Joseph Pacileo Vice President of Mission Solutions Business Unit

    Joe Pacileo, TASC

    TASC, Inc. has today named Joseph Pacileo vice president of the company’s Mission Solutions business unit. Pacileo will oversee the firm’s operations supporting its intelligence and cyber customers at Ft. Meade. Prior to his current role, Pacileo served as vice president of Cyber Operations at ManTech International Corporation. He also served as a director at Northrop Grumman, managing systems engineering, training and technical services.

    “The threats to our national security are constantly evolving, and TASC provides the sophisticated solutions our customers need to meet current and emerging threats,” says Al Pisani, senior vice president of TASC’s Intelligence Group. “Joe brings proven, hands-on experience and deep customer knowledge that will help TASC expand its footprint at Ft. Meade and ensure our customers have the right people and the right solutions in place to meet today’s mission requirements and prepare for tomorrow’s highly technical challenges.”

    Pacileo has an extensive military career which includes having served at the National Security Agency (NSA) for more than 15 years in multiple military assignments. Pacileo retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of colonel after 25 years of active-duty service supporting the intelligence community. A highly decorated soldier, his awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Army Legion of Merit Medal and the Bronze Star Medal.

    Currently, Pacileo serves on the AFCEA Central Maryland Executive board as vice president for USCYBERCOM, the board of directors of the Ft. Meade Alliance and the board of the University of Maryland’s Cybersecurity Center.
