Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) is hosting Techstravaganza, a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) exploration day on Saturday April 20, 2013 at the school’s campus in Alexandria, Va. Upper elementary and middle school students will conduct hands-on science activities and watch a variety of demonstrations.
The event is an outreach effort of TJHSST and is sponsored by Tomorrow’s Women in Science and Technology (TWIST), the Biology Society and multiple corporate sponsors who will have their own booths at the event. Registration is not required for Techstravaganza, and is free and open to the public.
