Salient Federal Solutions has today expanded its management team with two vice presidential appointments. The firm appointed Sujey Edward as Vice President of its Agile Center of Excellence, as well as Sheri Neely, who will serve as Vice President of Mission Critical Software Development.
“The appointments of Sujey and Sheri are important milestones that will enable our team to maintain a strong strategic focus on the integration of technology, systems, and solutions,” said Bill Parker, COO of Salient. “Their leadership and forward thinking play an integral role in sustaining Salient’s growth. We look forward to the immediate contributions they will bring to benefit our customers.”
Edward’s responsibilities include heading up the firm’s Agility-as-a-Service (AaaS) distinction, and enabling customers to understand the benefits of agile solutions including cost reduction, risk reduction and accountability. He will also focus on best practices for delivering scaled agile solutions to agencies and organizations that understand the importance of rapid delivery and finding leaner approaches. Prior to his current role, Edwards served as an agile coach for multiple firms including the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas.
Sheri Neely’s responsibilities include leading and expanding mission critical software development engagements. She will also lead the firm’s teams in software engineering and IT infrastructure systems for the Federal Civilian Market. Neely previously served as Vice President of Operations at LIST Innovative Solutions, as well as VP and Deputy Business Unit Director at SRA International. In that role, she supported federal civilian agencies including the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Office of Personnel Management.
