SAIC recently announced that its Senior Vice President James R. Moos has been selected to lead the firm’s Engineering Solutions Group, as its General Manager. The group consists of 4,900 employees that focus on the energy, environment and infrastructure markets. Moos previously served as the group’s deputy general manager.

“Jim has had a very successful career, especially at SAIC, and he is committed to the company’s strategy to build and diversify our engineering business,” said Joe Craver, president of SAIC’s Health and Engineering Sector.  “Jim’s strong leadership skills, ability to execute, technical background, and understanding of the commercial and federal engineering markets make him an exceptional choice to lead this organization.”

Prior to his current role, Moos recently led the firm’s Environment and Civil Infrastructure Operation. The executive has been with SAIC for 14 years and has 24 years of experience managing large complex organizations and programs, including the technical and business aspects of the environment, construction and engineering activities.

Before joining SAIC, Moos served with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and MK Ferguson Co. He also spent more than six years in the U.S Navy’s Nuclear Power Program.
