    U.S. Army JPEO-CBD Awards MacB Five-Year, Multiple Award IDIQ Contract

    MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) has won a five-year, multiple award, Indefinite-delivery/Indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Army Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD). The contract is for a three-year base period with two one-year option periods and a six-month optional extension period.

    “The protection of our soldiers and citizens from chemical and biological threats is a National Security imperative,” said MacB GES President Dennis Werth. “We look forward to partnering with the Army to develop and maintain state-of-the-art systems and procedures that directly impact thousands of lives in the event of an attack.”

    Under the contract, MacB Gray Enterprise Solutions (GES) will provide performance-based logistics management services and support associated with the development, production, fielding, maintenance, sustainment, and improvement of all Biological Defense, Contamination Avoidance, Chemical and Biological Medical Systems, Guardian, and related Information and Protection Systems.

    MacB is one of nine prime contractors named to the Logistics Domain award, and the Logistics Domain is one of six functional domains awarded.
