The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) is about to make some new additions to its team. Six new members for the Board of Directors and five new members for the Board of Advisors will join new Board Chairman, Ambassador John Negroponte, and current Board members in further strengthening INSA’s leadership team.
“As the new Chairman of the Board, I was drawn to INSA because it is a trusted, respected and credible resource and venue for professionals in the intelligence and national security community,” said Ambassador Negroponte. “The organization’s success and growing influence flow from the invaluable work being done by members of the INSA Board of Directors and Board of Advisors. I look forward to working together with them, INSA Councils and Task Forces, and INSA staff to fulfill our mission and further serve the IC in 2013.”
The six new members of the Board of Directors will be joining the nine current members for a three-year term.
“The 2013 Board of Directors and Board of Advisors are an outstanding group of leaders who will help to guide INSA to a higher level of leadership and influence,” said Chuck Alsup, INSA Acting President and Vice President for Policy. “During this time of transition, with newly selected INSA Board Chair Ambassador Negroponte and other staff changes, INSA will look to its Boards for leadership and direction. The new Board members each bring the industry knowledge and career experience we need to grow INSA’s membership and lead INSA to the next level of support for the public, private and academic sectors of the IC.”
