Earlier today, through an email to all customers, Kevin Parker, President and CEO of Deltek, Inc., announced that his last day with the company will be December 7th.

Parker wrote, “I am very heartened by the fact that I leave Deltek in tremendous shape financially, operationally and culturally. Over the last seven years our revenues have more than tripled, our customer base has more than doubled, we have expanded globally with customers in 80 countries around the world, our leading product portfolio is the deepest and broadest in the industry, and our management team is the strongest it has ever been. We’ve also doubled the number of our employees – from a company of 800 mainly US-based employees to one with more than 1,600 employees around the world.”

Parker won Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2012 Ernst and Young Awards, for the software services division, in June of this year.

WashingtonExec recently interviewed Parker about the future of Deltek, the company’s acquisition by Thoma Bravo for $1.1 billion, and the upcoming Deltek/INPUT Holiday Party.
