The 2012 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Greater Washington Awards were held last night at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner. This year’s black-tie event brought over 500 attendees to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of the D.C. region.
Beginning with a cocktail reception, all attendees networked on the fifth floor foyer before processing to the ballroom for the evening program.
The winners of this year’s Washington, D.C. Entrepreneur of the Year Awards included:

Brad Schwartz of Blue Canopy Group for the Technology Services Division
Thomas J. Deierlein of ThunderCat Technology for the Government Services Division
Dawn Halfaker of Halfaker and Associates, LLC for the Emerging Business Division
Tonya Mallory of Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. for the Health Services Division
Robert W. Musslewhite of The Advisory Board Company for the Business Services Division
Steve Trundle of Alarm.com for the Real Estate and Residential Division
Each participant left with a complimentary copy of World Changers: 25 Entrepreneurs Who Changed Business as We Knew It, by John A. Byrne, as well as the spring edition of Exceptional Magazine, published by Ernst & Young, LLP.
Tonight’s winners will all compete at the national level for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards to be held later this year.
