The Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards took place November 1st at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Professional Services Council (PSC), and Washington Technology magazine presented the awards.
Octo Consulting Group, with President & CEO Mehul Sanghani, won Contractor of the Year (less than $25 million).
On the win, Sanghani said, “We brought a large contingent – over 1/3 of our employees – to tonight’s gala to ensure they took part in celebrating being a finalist for this award. I told my employees that tonight was the “Academy Awards” of the GovCon industry and we were lucky to be up for “Best Picture.” To win the award amongst such equally deserving competition validates and underscores what I’ve known and believed for some time, that our vision of creating a truly unique and sustainable technology solutions and consulting enterprise is deserving of this recognition, but more importantly, the pure will and drive to succeed of all of our firm’s employees is unmatched. So proud and humbled.”
