David Moskovitz has been named chief executive of Accenture Federal Services, effective immediately, where he will be responsible for every aspect of the federal business, including setting strategic direction, positioning the business in the market, managing and deepening client relationships, and developing talent.

“David Moskovitz has a depth of government experience, in both strategic and operational roles, that will continue to drive the business and continue to position Accenture Federal Services as a leader in the marketplace, said Stephen J. Rohleder, group chief executive, Health & Public Service. “David combines an understanding of the importance of providing exceptional client services with a strategic business background that is essential in today’s federal economic environment. He has a true passion for public service and bringing the best of Accenture to help our government clients better serve their customers and taxpayers.”

Accenture Federal Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture LLP, a U.S. company. Currently the Growth & Strategy lead for Health & Public Service, Moskovitz has more than 30 years of experience leading large-scale, government technology and transformation projects, including 18 years with Accenture. He has recently helped craft the U.S. federal strategy and led Accenture’s U.S. State and Local government practice.

“I am delighted to join our federal practice at a time when we are focused on providing innovative, cost-effective solutions to help our government clients improve performance and efficiency,” said David Moskovitz. “Our clients know we deliver on our promise to help them meet the challenges they face today and in the future.”
