Aneesh Chopra, who has served as the first United States Federal Chief Technology Officer (CTO) under President Obama and as Virginia’s Secretary of Technology under Governor Tim Kaine, and is most recently running for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, has a couple of events coming up later this month.
On October 9th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., Chopra will be part of a discussion with best-selling author Eric Ries (The Lean Startup) on the topic of Lean Startup principles and their application to the work of the public sector. The conversation will be moderated by David J. Miller, Director of Entrepreneurship at the Mason Center for Social Entrepreneurship.
Just two days later on October 11th beginning at 7:30 p.m., Chopra will be a part of a “Tech Nite and VP Debate Watch Party” with Tim O’Reilly in McLean, VA as part of a Tech 4 Obama event.
