3Pillar Global announced it is redefining the role of software product development companies, proactively helping clients get revenue-generating products to market faster by investing in initiatives that complement its product strategy, development, and support services.

According to Forrester Research, Inc., such initiatives are required as the product development services market makes a fundamental move to a more proactive, solution-based approach, which it dubs “product development services 2.0 (PDS 2.0).”

“Brick-and-mortar and online businesses alike must navigate the shift to an information-centric economy to respond to customer demand and capture market opportunity, but they are being swamped under a deluge of data,” said 3Pillar CEO David DeWolf. “At the same time, technologies like mobility, cloud, and big data that can help them harness information and best engage with their customers. Businesses simply don’t have the time and resources to keep up, but we do. We’re doubling down with our investments and new branding to drive our value proposition as a leading product development partner that turns ideas and information into revenue.”

3Pillar Global, a product development partner that accelerates revenue growth by rapidly bringing innovative software solutions to market, is leading the charge for change to this solution-based, proactive approach.
Its recently-formed product design practice gives clients a single source for rapid design and implementation of high-performance products that increase end-user experience as well as product loyalty, longevity, and revenue. 3Pillar also has honed its proven processes and best practices to ensure clients can monetize information through innovative, agile product development.

3Pillar is launching a new corporate identity that includes a new name (Three Pillar Global is now 3Pillar Global), new tagline (“Disciplined Innovation”), and new look/logo/brand to capture the changing rules of the game for software product development companies, and also acknowledge the formal completion and full integration with the 2011 BrickRed and PointAbout acquisitions.

“Much like our clients, we cannot afford to stand still. We must continue to innovate to help our clients get to market faster, earn more, and grow,” said Ken Quaglio, 3Pillar’s COO. “Our latest initiatives reflect that the business model has moved beyond outsourced product development to co-sourced product development. To be a leader in the product development-as-a-service space, we must offer an elastic and efficient approach to cost-effectively build software products of the highest quality that propel our clients to reach their top-line and bottom-line objectives.”
