    Dick Bodson, SUBSYSTEMs

Dick Bodson, a 30-year veteran of federal IT and management consulting services, has joined Subsystem Technologies (SUBSYSTEMs) as President.

Bodson worked with SUBSYSTEMs CEO Sam Malhotra 27 years ago when Malhotra was a systems engineer and Bodson managed systems analysts, both working on Department of Defense Health Affairs programs.

“Sam was the technical genius behind many of our DoD innovative programs.” Bodson said. “He was the calming influence in an intense development environment. It is great to be with him again especially since he has established an accomplished advanced analytics and engineering, IT services, and management consulting company. I’m excited for this opportunity.”

After Bodson and Malhtora moved on to other and separate opportunities, Malhotra started and methodically built SUBSYSTEMs, providing varied IT and advanced engineering services to a myriad federal clients.

“Dick has been instrumental in helping both large businesses to expand organically (EDS, DynCorp I&ET, and GE IT), and small businesses to expand organically and through acquisitions (RSIS, FC Business Systems, AVIEL Systems/NetStar-1, and LeapFrog Solutions),” said Malhotra. “Dick’s experience with companies like SUBYSYSTEMs combined with his large business background make him the right person to help us achieve our strategic plan, which means our customers realize their plans.”

Bodson has consulted to SUBSYSTEMs since March 2012, helping to develop the company’s strategic plan—the Grand Strategy—that the company began executing October 1st this year, keeping a focus on strategic business development, exceeding customer expectations, and establishing employee development programs. Additionally, SUBSYTEMs is embarking on new growth initiatives with current and new customers that Bodson will help lead.
