    Catherine Claudell Named New Vice President of Human Resources for Oceus Networks

    Catherine Caudell is the new vice president of human resources at Oceus Networks, which is a leading provider of broadband solutions to the U.S Department of Defense, intelligence community and federal government agencies.

    “The addition of Catherine will enhance our ability to grow and develop our team to address the significant market opportunity that is in front of us,” said Douglas C. Smith, president and chief executive officer of Oceus Networks. “Her expertise in developing and executing effective human resources strategies broadens our management capability and is a valuable addition to our management team. We’re excited to welcome Catherine to the Oceus Networks family and know that her extensive human resources experience will assist us in furthering our mission to provide cutting-edge tactical broadband solutions to customers worldwide.”

    As VP, Caudell is in charge of the company’s human resources (HR) function. She is responsible for change leadership, integration and inclusion, leadership coaching and development, organization optimization, talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, benefits, and compensation.

    Caudell, who comes with more than 30 years as a human resources executive, was most recently the chief administrative officer and vice president, human resources for SI Global. She has also held executive leadership roles with Tel-Star Communications and The Deming Institute.

    Claudell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barry University, Miami, and a Masters of Arts degree from The University of Michigan.
